Your children can plan around you, and that is worth more than almost anything else on this page.
Saturn gives you the thing that does not photograph well: the bill paid, the promise kept, the difficult year absorbed without the children finding out how difficult it was. They grow up inside a structure that does not wobble, and every sign in this list settles faster in a house where somebody is unmistakably in charge.
You also teach properly. You will show a child how to do the thing, slowly, and let them practise it badly rather than taking over. Your children end up competent, and they know it was you.
The hour that tests you
It is the moment the sensible thing is finished and there is nothing left to do but enjoy them.
That is the hour you find hardest. There is always another task, and the task is real, and the warm unproductive half hour keeps getting postponed to a calmer week that does not arrive. Leo, Sagittarius and Aries children read that as distance. Cancer and Pisces children read it as something being wrong.
The second thing is expectation. You were probably responsible early, and it is very easy to assume a child can carry what you could carry. Capricorn and Virgo children will quietly take on whatever you leave lying around, including your worries.
What to do with that
Say the warm thing in words. You express love by doing, and several signs here do not receive it that way at all. The sentence costs you four seconds and lands somewhere the packed bag cannot reach.
Schedule the pointless part, the way you schedule everything else. If it is in the week, you will do it, and you will find you enjoy it.
And check what your children are carrying. Ask directly whether they are worrying about something that belongs to an adult, and then take it back out loud. They will not raise it themselves. That is precisely the problem.
